Collection: DNA & Oligo Array Substrates

Amino, aldehyde, and PDITC-functionalized substrates for DNA oligonucleotide microarray printing.

Amino-, aldehyde-, and PDITC-functionalized substrates are widely used for the immobilization of amino-modified DNA oligonucleotides in microarray applications. These surface chemistries enable covalent attachment of probes, providing excellent stability during hybridization and washing steps.

Amino surfaces offer a versatile platform that can be further activated for probe coupling, while aldehyde surfaces react directly with amino-modified oligonucleotides to form stable linkages. PDITC-functionalized substrates provide highly efficient coupling chemistry and are often favored when high probe density and strong attachment are required.

When combined with optimized printing buffers and high-quality oligonucleotides, these functionalized substrates deliver uniform spot morphology, high hybridization efficiency, and reproducible performance for gene expression, genotyping, pathogen detection, and other DNA microarray assays.
